Golden Hour Sessions | St. Albert Portrait Photographer | Fall 2025

Golden hour is my favourite time of day to photograph your sessions! What is golden hour? It is the last hour of the day before the sun sets; beautiful golden light! In the following blue hour, the skies can be dramatic and lovely as well.

Jessica Leanne Photography is booking Golden Hour Sessions this Fall, throughout September & October! These photography sessions are perfect for families, maternity sessions, couples, creative portraits, branding photography, & more.

In the fall, earlier sunsets, make for an easier time of day to take advantage of this lovely light, especially for families with little ones. As the name implies, golden hour sessions are an hour long, which makes for a more relaxed session, allowing me to be more creative and capture more of those authentic moments between you & your loved ones.

A Fall Family Session | St. Albert Family Photographer

A beautiful late fall evening spent with this family! They were so happy; laughing most of the session. I am happy with the photographs we captured for them. The kids were so happy to climb the hill and explore at the end of the session.

Family sessions are a favourite of mine, with a mix of documentary and portraits, photographing you as you are.

A beautiful family session, celebrating this family's newest little one! These two girls are so sweet!  I absolutely love photographing this family and am so happy with how their session turned out.  It was a beautiful summer evening!

Scott & Dayna | St. Albert Engagement Photographer

This engagement session was absolutely magical! Scott & Dayna were so fun to hang out with, and their love was so beautiful to photograph.  These photographs bring me so much joy, and I hope, even more so for them!  

The weather changed so dramatically throughout the session; every way we turned the lighting created such variety for me to work with.  It was a photographer's dream.  A huge thunderstorm rolled behind us half way through the session.  So we headed west, towards the setting sun, to do our best to escape the rain.
